The Invoice is based on the order date pricelist on the homepage.
The Prices shown on our English webpage are in EURO € and include Danish VAT if nothing says otherwise. You can change the currency.
We currently only charge sales tax, at the applicable rate(25%), on sales orders delivered within the EU, in some countries we charge local VAT E.G. Germany is 19% VAT. If you are a company please provide us with your company Tax No and we will ship the items ordered without VAT if the TAX No is valid and if it complies with all laws in regard to sales tax.
Outside the EU, the items at shipped without VAT.

We ship international orders via Scandinavian Post (PostNord).
We ship all over the world. You only pay Shipping and Handling Charges. Most orders are shipped from us within 36-48 hours. Delivery of your order to you will depend on where the delivery address is. Some delays may be unavoidable, also due to product unavailability. Also, please allow additional time for orders placed during the holidays or weekends.
You have 14 days of "Return of Products" right according to Danish law. You only pay the shipping cost.
You may cancel your order at any time before shipment. We reserve the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer.
Please provide all the information requested in the order form. Order information is provided to us through a secure, encrypted transmission. We need your name, credit card number, expiration date, billing address for the credit card, shipping address (if different from the billing address), phone number, and e-mail address. We need your phone number and e-mail address to contact you if there is a problem with your order. When placing an order, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true and correct, that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you possess the legal authority to enter into your purchase agreement and to use this website in accordance with these terms. You agree to be financially responsible for your purchases through the website. Verification of your information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.
We intend to stock every item presented on our webpage. Otherwise, we will always attempt to ship your order completely. However, situations occur where an item may be out of stock. In those situations, we will ship what we have in stock and request that you re-order the out-of-stock item at a later time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Any credits left on your account can be used toward a future order or, at your request, we will issue a credit to your credit card account.

We will initiate an investigation in collaboration with the postal service. Time can vary from country to country, please be patient it can take up to 60 days.
The outcome may be that the parcel is found and sent to the recipient unless otherwise agreed. Or the package will be lost forever and a new replacement will be sent to the recipient. - If you can't wait for an inquiry, you can re-order and pay the normal full price. You must then inform us that you have chosen this option so that we can get the lost package back to us and pay you back for the original order.

Defects, Complaints, and Incorrect Deliveries
It is your responsibility as a customer to inspect your goods immediately upon receipt for any defects, deficiencies, or transport damage. If you discover a discrepancy, please contact our customer service as soon as possible and within a reasonable timeframe. For a swift case processing, we ask you to have your order number ready and attach a description as well as photo documentation of the issue.
1. Missing Items in the Delivery If one or more items from your order are missing from the shipment, it will be handled according to the following principles:

If the value of the missing item constitutes less than 20% of the total order value, Skindhuset reserves the right to refund the full price of the item. This is done to ensure the quickest possible solution for you as a customer.

If the value of the missing item exceeds 20% of the total order value, we will generally arrange for a subsequent delivery of the missing item at no additional cost to you.

Regardless of the value, special arrangements can be made with customer service if the missing item is crucial for your project.
2. Missing Parts of an Item If an item is delivered with a missing part, the situation will be assessed as follows:

Non-essential parts: If an item is delivered with a missing part that is not essential for the item's primary function (e.g., a single screw in a set, a decorative element, or similar), Skindhuset will offer compensation corresponding to an estimated value of the missing part. In such cases, the item is still considered usable.

Essential parts: If the missing part is essential for the use of the item (e.g., a handle for a bag, a power supply for a tool), it is considered a defective item, and the case will be handled as a complaint (see point 3).
3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrectly Delivered Items If you receive an item that is defective, damaged during transport, or if you have received the wrong item, you must contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the specific situation and in accordance with the rules of the Sale of Goods Act, we will offer one of the following solutions:

Remedy: Repair of the item.

Replacement: Delivery of a new, equivalent item.

Proportional reduction: A partial refund of the item's price.

Cancellation of the purchase: Return of the item for a full refund.
Skindhuset will cover any return costs associated with a justified and pre-approved complaint. Unauthorized returns or returns without prior agreement will not be covered.
Clause regarding responsibility for import of goods
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods ordered can be lawfully imported into the destination country. This includes compliance with all applicable import regulations, laws, and restrictions, including but not limited to obtaining necessary import licenses, permits, and certifications, and paying all applicable customs duties, taxes, and fees.
While the Company will provide accurate product information and assist the Customer with the import process to the best of its ability, the Company is not responsible for any delays, costs, or penalties arising from the Customer's failure to comply with import regulations in the destination country.
In the event that the goods are refused entry due to the Customer's failure to comply with import regulations, the Customer will be responsible for all costs associated with the return or disposal of the goods.
Deficiency:
If a product is missing from your delivery, Skindhuset reserves the right to refund the item price. If the value of the missing item is less than 30% of the total purchase amount, the price will be refunded. If the value exceeds 30%, Skindhuset will resend the missing item.
Knives / blades
Knives and blades are often delivered less sharpened. This is to prevent a really sharp knife from losing the "egg" under transport and kicking.
Iron
Many of our products are made of iron and can thus rust, some manufacturers add a little oil to prevent them from rusting during transport. The rust often comes from condensation, when there are rapid changes in temperatures condensation occurs. It does not affect the quality of the product.
Nickel:
Be aware of what nickel is in and where it is to be used, as Skindhuset sells goods with nickel in and cannot take responsibility for what the end-user uses the goods for. If the product says that it is nickel-free, the underlying metal may contain nickel, but the surface does not emit nickel. The leather case does not guarantee that the item is 100% nickel-free - Buy a test set at the pharmacy.
Sun and heat:
Leather, leather and fur should be kept away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Some skins, leather and fur may be treated so they can withstand the sun, but do not take it for granted. Leather, leather & fur are specialty products and there is a lot of information, opportunities and pitfalls attached to it.
About Leather Quality
At Skindhuset, we always strive to offer high-quality leather to our customers. Our leather is a natural product, and it is important to note that no leather is completely flawless. Minor variations in texture, color, or small irregularities are a natural part of the leather's character and attest to its authenticity.
When a specific quality level is indicated on the product card, you can expect the leather to meet this standard. If, however, no specific quality is indicated on the product card, it means that the leather in question falls "outside of category." This is often because we have purchased the lot as a remnant batch or a mixed batch from the manufacturer. In these cases, as buyers, we must accept a broader range of qualities, which may include leather with more natural marks, minor imperfections, or a more uneven surface than what would otherwise characterize our top qualities.
We do our utmost to select and send you the best possible leather within the given category. Should you, contrary to expectations, not be satisfied with the received leather, you are, of course, always welcome to return the item, provided our general return conditions are met.
