Sewing Instructions for Memory Card Wallet

Materials:

  • Leather in the desired color and thickness
  • Thread in a matching or contrasting color
  • Needle
  • Scissors
  • Edge beveler (optional)
  • Glue (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Print the pattern without scaling (1:1).
  2. Cut the leather according to the pattern.
  3. Round the corners with a radius of 10 mm.
  4. Mark the stitching line 3 mm from the edge on all parts.

Sewing:

  1. Sew the pieces together with a French seam of 3.85 mm.
  2. Start by sewing the two pockets for the business cards.
  3. Then sew the six pockets for the SD cards.
  4. Assemble the three parts of the wallet and sew them together along the marked stitching lines.
  5. Polish the edges with an edge beveler for a nice finish (optional).

Tips:

  • Use glue to hold the leather in place during sewing (optional).
  • Sew slowly and carefully to ensure a neat and straight seam.
  • Use a needle that matches the thickness of the leather and thread.
  • Practice on a piece of scrap leather before sewing the final project.
