XS: Very small hand, S: Small hand, M: Average woman's hand, L: Large woman's/small man's hand, XL: Man's hand, XXL: Large man's hand. Measurements in cm are taken internally. It is important to have air around the fingers for free movement. A too tight mitten will cool instead of warm. Measure from the tip of your middle finger to about 5 cm up your hand from the wrist bone. The width is measured across the hand at the thumb knuckle.
