Thickness Gauges CALATI particularly suitable for an exact and quick measuring of thickness of any type of leather, as well as of papers, cardboards and plates with the possibility, according to your own requirements, between 3 different types of contacts.

The choice of materials was our particular care, so that a longer life is obtained, also when the instruments, especially in tanneries, work in the most unsuitable conditions in touch with water, salts and acids.
For this purpose the arch made in light alloy is protected with an epoxy powder lacquer, while the most delicate parts are made in stainless steel.

The CALATI thickness gauges are particularly suitable for an exact and fast thickness check up of multiple materials including leather or sole, paper, fabrics, metal sheet, plastic, rubber and foam with the possibility of using various types of contacts, based on the surface to be measured. Great care has been taken in the choice of core parts, in order to guarantee a longer life even when the instruments works in the most critical conditions : water, salts and acids. For this reason, the bow, made of light alloy, is protected with an epoxy powder paint while the most delicate parts are produced in stainless steel. For over forty years, CALATI thickness gauges have been made in Italy in various models, used in all working environments and appreciated all over the world.
