Mahogany Mink describes the darkest shade of the brown mink. The skins are one colour with light markings, if any. The brown mink types are produced in large quantities and are considered the core of the fur industry.
Although different dressing processes allow the skins to be bleached and dyed, most of the Mahogany Mink production is used for classical garments in the natural shades and colours.
