Gentle Cleanser 125ml - Saphir Medaille d'or

Why choose this Cleanser?

• Opens the pores: The cleanser gently opens the leather's pores, allowing subsequent care products (creams and waxes from the Médaille D’or range) to penetrate deeply and nourish the leather.

• Contains Montan Wax: Uniquely, the formula contains Montan wax, which prepares the leather to receive new nourishment and leaves a beautiful finish.

• Preserves the Glaze: Especially recommended for those who maintain their shoes regularly. Since it does not remove the deep base, it is incredibly easy to recreate a high gloss (spit shine) after use.

• Safe Formula: The product is classified as neither harmful, flammable, nor dangerous.

Application & Materials: This cleaner is incredibly versatile and can be used on:

• Smooth leather (calf, cow)

• Oiled leather and oiled nubuck

• Cordovan leather (highly suitable)

• Sneakers and cleaning of white rubber soles/rims

Advice & Instructions:

1. Shake the bottle: It is very important to shake the bottle thoroughly before use to mix the ingredients homogeneously.

2. Test: Always perform a test on a non-visible area before treating the entire shoe.

3. Application: Apply a little cleanser on a cotton cloth and wipe over the shoe.

Important for very dirty shoes: If your shoes are very dirty, or if they have previously been maintained with products containing silicone, resin, or "bad wax" (not from Saphir), this Cleanser may be too mild. In that case, we recommend using Saphir Renomat (Ref. 1584) first. Renomat resets the leather completely by removing all old layers, so you can start fresh with the Saphir range.
